Named
“Sweet” for the obvious “Sweet Sixteen” reference, hole #16 is a great
par four. A water hazard, which crosses the fairway, drains into a
large pond that runs along the left side of the entire hole. Situated
about 150 yards from the green, a large mound is positioned in the
middle of the fairway. Bunkers are located on the right side of the
fairway and one greenside bunker is also located on the right side.
PRO TIP – Many golfers need to play this hole as a
short par five, avoiding the trouble on the left side. The putting
green is sloped back to front and also left to right, so attempt to
position your ball on the green accordingly.
